Yeer Education to Prevent Early Marriage Featured 
through Radio Program in Nepal
Greetings from Y-PEER Nepal
Y-PEER Nepal highlighted the need of peer education approach in the
issue of ASRH and preventing early marriage through radio program on
18th March, 2011
Ms. Shubha Kayastha, national focal point incharge and Ms. Shusma
Thapa, Y-PEER trained peer educator from SOLID Nepal were interviewed
by a national FM studio (Radio Audio) in one of the famous and regular
program (Khulduli dot com) that is on air in many districts of Nepal,
that deals sexual and reproductive health issues of young people.
Discussion were done in a youthful and fun way on the importance of
peer education, current and future activities of Y-PEER Nepal incuding
trainings, capacity development of young people, etc; and other ASRH
problems.
We hope this small activity will contribute the larger goal
achievement of the network.
